About Us
Estate, Trust, Fiduciary Matters and Disputes Demand Clarity, Judgment, and the Right Legal Strategy
Guardian Probate Law Group represents clients in administration, contested probate, fiduciary litigation, and estate and trust disputes.

Probate Is Our Entire Focus
Guardian Probate Law Group is built around the issues families and fiduciaries face after a death.
We help clients handle estate and trust administration, probate proceedings, fiduciary responsibilities, disputes, and litigation involving estates, trusts, executors, administrators, trustees, heirs, and beneficiaries.
Because we do this every day, we understand how quickly estate issues can become financial, practical, and family problems. Our role is to bring clarity to the situation, identify what needs to happen next, and help clients move forward with a plan.

Executors & Administrators
Managing an estate usually involves dealing with assets, debts, deadlines, distributions, court requirements, and fiduciary duties.
Executors and administrators need to understand their responsibilities, manage the estate properly, and respond appropriately when heirs or beneficiaries raise concerns about distributions, decisions, delays, accounting, or how the estate is being handled.
Trustees
Trustees may need guidance and support interpreting the trust, managing assets, communicating with beneficiaries, making distributions, and fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities.
When beneficiaries question their decisions or allege the trust is being mishandled, trustees may also need to address concerns, resolve legitimate issues, and defend their actions when accusations are unfounded.
Heirs & Beneficiaries
Heirs and beneficiaries may have questions about their rights, the status of an estate or trust, distributions, accounting, delays, or a fiduciary’s actions.
When an Estate or Trust Becomes Contested
Representation when disagreements over a will, estate, trust, executor, administrator, trustee, or distribution cannot be resolved informally
The Personal Experience Behind Guardian
Guardian Probate Law Group was built from a firsthand understanding of how difficult the period after a death can become when legal problems add to grief.
Our founding probate attorney Erik Broel experienced this early in life when his uncle died without a will. He watched his aunt struggle to manage the estate, deal with property issues, and navigate family conflict at a time when she should have been left alone to grieve and rebuild.
The experience showed him how quickly an estate can become overwhelming when families do not have clear legal guidance.
It ultimately inspired Erik to dedicate his career to probate law and build a team focused on helping clients move through these situations with more confidence, structure, and support.

What You Can Expect When You Work with Guardian
Probate and trust matters are easier to navigate when you know what is happening, who is handling your case, and what comes next. Guardian is structured to offer clients that clarity from the beginning.
A Legal Team Assigned to Your Case
Every case is assigned an attorney and paralegal who work together to understand and evaluate the matter, address the issues involved, and move the case forward.
Preparation Before the Strategy Session
Every case begins with a Strategy Session right after hiring. Before that meeting, the legal team reviews the documents and information you provide so the discussion can focus on your goals, the legal issues, your questions, available options, and the initial strategy.
A Plan Built Around Your Case and Your Goals
Our team identifies the legal and practical priorities, explains the options, and works with you to develop an initial plan. As decisions arise, you remain involved in the strategic direction of the matter.
Updates on Significant Developments
Estate, trust, and fiduciary matters can change as documents are reviewed, court events occur, or other parties take action. We communicate about significant developments, explain how they may affect the current strategy, and adjust the plan as needed.
Meet the Team Behind Guardian
Probate work is more than preparing filings. Estate and trust matters can involve fiduciary duties, beneficiary concerns, financial questions, court requirements, and disputes that change as the matter develops. Meet the lawyers who focus their practice on the legal issues that arise after a death.
From Estate Administration to Serious Estate and Trust Disputes
Some probate matters require careful administration. Others involve disagreement, misconduct, or litigation. Guardian handles both.
When court involvement or conflict becomes necessary, Guardian helps clients understand their position and pursue an appropriate legal strategy.
When a matter becomes contested or requires court involvement, the strategy may need to evaluate evidence, fiduciary duties, court procedures, and the client’s goals.
