Matthew Robinson

Matthew is an Attorney at GPLG, where he helps clients navigate complex legal matters with clear judgment, careful analysis, and steady guidance. He works closely with individuals and families in probate matters, understanding that these issues often arise during life’s most difficult moments and require both strong advocacy and clear direction.

He has 10 years of legal experience, with a background in administrative law, litigation, and family and juvenile matters. Before focusing on probate law, he served as an Administrative Law Judge, presiding over Medicaid appeal hearings, evaluating evidence, ruling on procedural issues, and issuing well-reasoned orders.

Earlier in his career, he represented a state agency in hundreds of juvenile cases through trial. He also handled custody trials and delinquency hearings in private practice and later worked on document review and quality control in complex litigation and regulatory matters.

This broad background strengthens his ability to analyze complex issues carefully, make sound decisions, and guide probate matters with clarity and precision.

Matthew earned his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law and holds a B.A. in English, Rhetoric, and Writing from the University of Tennessee. He values working closely with colleagues across the firm, understanding that good coordination and a collaborative approach help clients receive stronger, more consistent support.
